Porsche shuts down PIONΞERS CIRCLE as 911 NFT floor price falls more than 96%

Porsche has ended PIONΞERS CIRCLE, its 911-themed NFT project, leaving holders with tokens that remain on-chain but have lost most of their market value. The collection launched in 2023 with a mint price of 0.911 ETH, or about $1,400 at the time. Roughly a month later, the floor price climbed above 3 ETH, equivalent to around $5,100, before sliding to 0.077 ETH, or about $200. That puts the collection down more than 96% from its peak and about 85% below the original mint price. The company did not give a detailed reason for ending the project. In a statement posted on X, Porsche described the initiative as a space for "experimentation" and a "shared adventure," adding that it would keep evolving as this chapter comes to an end. Porsche also said the NFTs will stay with their current holders and continue to exist on the blockchain. The shutdown comes as the automaker faces broader business pressure, including reported job cuts, weaker deliveries, and a sharp decline in its XETRA-listed stock over the past year.

Porsche’s PORSCHΞ Web3 project and PIONΞERS CIRCLE community shut down

Porsche’s Web3 initiative PORSCHΞ said on X that the project and its PIONΞERS CIRCLE community have ended operations. The wind-down plan keeps previously issued PORSCHΞ 911 NFTs in holders’ wallets and on-chain, while the PIONΞERS Discord server will be converted into a read-only archive. The project’s official X account will also stop active updates. Separate data from NFTScan shows the PORSCHΞ 911 NFT collection currently has a floor price of 0.0794 ETH. Trading activity has been sparse recently, with only scattered transactions recorded.
